The reality is setting in. A lot of praying, a pre-trip in February, planning meetings, and of course a change in leadership for the mission trip to Guerrero / Agualeguas. Now we have packed and are anxiously awaiting our departure. As usual there are challenges. One year we bought a fire truck before we knew how to get it there, we bought medical supplies before we had a doctor, bought building materials before we had a location to build - there are always opportunities for God to demonstrate His power over circumstances. I feel somewhat like Moses leaving without knowing exactly where he is going. We will depart at 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning without knowing where we will cross the border. No need to worry though because we have seen some mighty powerful demonstrations of God's grace at the border before. The reason for the uncertainty is Sunday is election day in Mexico and they are not sure they can process us (whatever that involves) because it will be too busy. We may have to leave the trailers in Texas until Monday morning, and then maybe go to Camargo to cross. One of our guiding principles is be flexible. We had everything packed when we realized we won't have any of our supplies for supper Sunday or breakfast Monday morning. Beverly the cook has worked out a plan - there are always adjustments to make. Continue to pray for safe travel, the border crossing, our spiritual preparation, and God working in the hearts of the people of Guerrero and Agualeguas. Just another opportunity for God to show His mighty power over circumstances.
Dios escucha!

It seems that "Without faith it is impossible to please God" was our motto just a few years ago. The border crossing is just one more opportunity for you all to give a testimony of God's power.
Praying for you today.
